Playing any one of Bach's Unaccompanied Cello Suites requires careful planning, thought and consideration. It's not only a physical challenge, but a mental one as well. I constantly search and analyze the piece's structure to find meaning, and to find overarching themes in which I can add my own voice to the piece. The 3rd suite is no exception. I had the joy to perform the suite in its entirety at the Columbia-Juilliard Exchange concert at the Italian Academy alongside my fellow colleagues. Check out the pic below!
